OK, writing up about all the lessons I have been listening to since last time. I didn't have any time to do this, since I was revising (or maybe not revising). One more test in a couple of weeks and then I can be back to business. Full speed.

かのじょ - Girlfriend

りょうしゅうしょ - Receipt

ちょうしはどうですか？- How are you doing? (How is your condition?)
いい - Good
ちょうしはいいです - I am doing good. (My condition is good.)
おかげさまでげんきです - Thanks to you, I am good.
めちゃめちゃ - Really / very
わるい - Bad
ちょうしはわるいです - I am doing bad
まあまあ - So so / alright

Informal.
げんきですか？ -> げんき？
げんきです -> げんきだよ
おかげさまでげんきです -> おかげさまでげんき
ちょうしはど？ -> ちょうしはど？

あさ - Morning
めし - Meal
まえ - Before
あさめしまえ - Before breakfast (Piece of cake).

(ご)かぞく - Family
The word is かぞく. The prefix, ご, is used for politeness, only when talking about someone else's family.
にん - Counter for people.
なんにん - How many people (what number of people).
ごかぞくはなんにんですか？ - How many people are in your family?
ふたり - Two people
ひとり - One person
(Every other possibility is just the number+にん, exactly like time).
ちち - Father
はは - Mother
いもうと - Younger sister
おとうと - Younger brother
あね - Older sister
あに - Older brother
おおい - Many
と - And

やさしい - Kind
たのしい - Fun
かわいい - Cute
いそがしい - Busy
うつくしい - Beautiful
かっこういい - Cool (good looking)
おもしろい - Funny / interesting
おとうとはかわいくておもしろいいです - When you want to use more than one adjective ending in い, you can drop the last い and change it to くて. This means "my sister is cute and interesting".

かれはだれですか？ - Who is this?
おとうさん - Father (someone else's, polite)
おかあさん - Mother (someone else's, polite)
おにいさん - Older brother (someone else's, polite)
おねえさん - Older sister (someone else's, polite)
おとすとさん - Younger brother (someone else's, polite)
いもうとさん - Younger sister (someone else's, polite)
Someone might also refer to their own older family members using this polite form.

ひさしぶり - It's been a long time,
ひさびさ - It's been a long time (informal).
ただ - Only just
こんしゅう - This week

これはなんといますか？ - How do you say this? (what is this?)
これはなんとよみますか？ - How do you read this?

ふん - Minutes
Adding the number for minutes is normal apart from
1 - いっぷん
3 - さんぶん
6 - ろっくぶん
8 - はぷん
10 - じうっぷん
(All those might actually be wrong...gotta look up this counting thing properly)

ちょっと - A little

さむくない - Not cold
You can take the い off adjectives and change it to くない to get a negative version.

I definitely skipped some, but hopefully nothing to important to myself.

More coursework. We really weren't taught this gui stuff well at all, because I don't have a clue what is meant to be done. I just want to finish this one, somehow get the csound one done, so then I can start to revise.

Got coursework to do. I was able to make the layout and actually plan what needs to be done. I just need to write the code now. Might be tricky, since I don't really have a clue how this mac OS X gui stuff is done.
